GRADE (Grading of Recommendations, Assessment, Development and Evaluation), 11th February 2020

due to big success, our GRADE course (Grading of Recommendations, Assessment, Development and Evaluation), organized by Cebam in collaboration with Cochrane Belgium, Domus Medica and CEBaP on 14/10/2019 is already fully booked! We will organize a second course on Tuesday, February 11th 2020 at Leuven. The course will be taught in English.
The GRADE approach describes the process of rating the quality of the best available evidence and developing health care recommendations developed by the international GRADE Working Group (www.gradeworkinggroup.org). Their aim was to develop a common, transparent and sensible approach to grading the quality of evidence and strength of recommendations in health care. Currently more and more organizations are supporting and implementing this approach.

Target audience:
  • People who want to learn more about the GRADE approach for interventions
  • People who want to use GRADE in their systematic review or guideline
Content: We will focus on the GRADE approach for interventions. The course consists of plenary lectures on how to assess the quality of evidence and how to formulate a recommendation based on an evidence profile. Both topics will be practiced in small-sized workshops. There will be ample room for questions.
